Don't buy this book. It is full of grammar and technical errors (e.g. the book says "we should then create a Cordova project, so run the following command... sudo npm install -g ionic". Err... no, that is not the command).The instructions are so incomplete it almost looks like full pages are missing. For example, at one point the book says "The side menu should then be modified". And I was like "What?! Where is the side menu?"
I purchased the Kindle edition and the code formatting/indenting is awful.

i was looking for book to learn how to build apps with Ionic and this book is was a perfect one to start i totaly recommend it
This book provides great step-by-step directions on using the Ionic Framework to create mobile apps. I thought the book was laid out in an easy to follow and logical way that makes it very useful. I especially liked the Facebook integration section. The fact that you can develop mobile apps without having to learn native programming is a game changer for me.
