“I want you to know that no matter what happens, I don’t blame you and I’ll love you until I die.”
Lainey devotes her entire life to taking care of others. As a cancer researcher, compassion is a huge part of her job. She has to care about her test subjects if she's going to be able to put into the necessary energy needed to help save them.
It's the same with Markathus, who goes by Mark, her dark god with his traditional style and quiet manner.
But when it turns out that he's not the man he claims to be, and she ends up naked in a freezer on a cold gurney, she finds herself questioning her feelings for him. He says he'll help her, and that even though she's in a strange place with things that weren't supposed to exist, she'll be OK.
First, though, she needs to learn to trust him, and there's no way she can trust a man that isn't human. He lied to her, he did this to her and now he was asking her to believe in him.
Will Lainey find a way back to Earth? What will Markathus do to her?

POV books give a more detailed insight into the characters thought and emotions. This is no exception. The aliens are very alien, cruel, bloodthirsty, predatory. So what happens when they shapeshift into a human? They experience human emotion. Even humans find emotions sometimes overwhelming. An alien who has been taught never to feel anything? Kind of like drowning when he discovers love, compassion, empathy. He returns to his planet, never able to forget the human lover he left behind. And then he finds her, in an experimental program designed to implant human females with fetuses, only to let the fetuses grow, eventually killing the mother. The babies are also dying, but that doesn't matter. Earth has an endless amount of females to sacrifice for their research. He won't let her die in a lab. And when he gets her away with the help of some friends who have also been to Earth, he makes a startling discovery. His mate is getting better. His baby was conceived on Earth, part human, part Fiori. He doesn't care that she may hold the key to preventing the Fiori extinction. He only knows he'll do anything to keep her and his child safe...Product details

The Alien Mate Abduction A SciFi Alien Abduction Romance eBook Zara Zenia Juno Wells Natasha Snow Reviews
I enjoyed reading this book by this author, and can't wait for the next one.
If I could have rated this book lower than 1 star I would have. Lost a couple of hours to this nasty book with a horrible storyline that gave me the creeps. Don't waste your money.
Normally, i usually like books written/co-authored by Juno Wells. However, this one was a total BOMB (
I didn't like the characters, races, story-line-- in short, none of it.
Either the authors were one a major sadist kick, or they'd been overtaken by evil torture-happy aliens themselves.
This genre is usually considered sci-fi romance... this was definitely NOT in that category.
Not a good plot. Very boring characters. Didn't keep my intrest.
I don't think I'll ever read another book by this authur,
I loved it. I need to know more about this new family. I hate to be left hanging. Will they be able to have a healthy child? I felt her pain as well as his. I sometimes wonder about new life out there besides ours. This book made me think more about this. Just fantastic, glad I had the chance to finish reading it. I believe I want to raad more books by this writer.
This book was great right until the end. The authors must have had a deadline to meet because there was great potential but it might as well have said " they stuck their heads in the sand and lived happily ever after". I was so angry that a book with such potential stopped short and left everything hanging. What a disappointment !
I have read several books by the authors but this one just left me flat. The characters were weak and if the intention was to parlay fear instead of weakness, it was not successful. I had a hard time sticking to it to finish reading, but was then disappointed with the ending. Just seemed to stop, but I really wanted to know more. I realize that there are restrictions but at least finish the story for the reader!
